About this event
Video Consortium brings you a special six-part workshop series on the ins and outs — and secrets — of producing excellent hosted short-form video journalism. In this session, we’ll be joined by Neeti Upadhye, Video Consultant and formerly Senior Video Manager at The Washington Post , and Halley Brown, Senior Producer at National Geographic , for a conversation on approaches and tips for hosting short-form videos. If you’re a long-form video journalist/filmmaker, how do you move into making hosted videos? If you’re a producer, how do you guide a writer on hosting a video? We’ll learn how to hone your hosting skills and workflows to get started, including voice, tone, whether or not to use a teleprompter, and more. ⭐ Are you a VC Gold member? Sign in and RSVP for free! Not Gold? Join us and attend all events for free.
