Interim Executive Director
Andrew Otwell builds the structure behind Seattle community organizations: the governance, budgets, partnerships, and systems that help people and programs work better. He's currently Chair of the Board of Invest In Youth, a nonprofit organization that places about 80 volunteer tutors in Seattle Public Schools. He oversees a small staff, directs daily operations, and guides the board through financial and organizational planning. He also tutors students one-on-one each week.
Andrew is also committed to his local community and has played a foundational role at the West Seattle Football Club, now in its third season fielding the Junction FC (men's USL2) and Rhodies FC (women's USLW) teams. As Sponsorship Coordinator, he helped build a network of local sponsors, managing activities ranging from business development and sales to contract drafting and account management. Through the club's non-profit Open Goal Initiative, he built partnerships with the West Seattle YMCA and the Seattle Associated Recreation Council that provided hundreds of free match tickets to local kids. He also runs the club's internship program, and shows up at every match to take tickets, engage with fans, and cheer on the teams.
Andrew has also contributed to programming for the Psychedelic Salon lecture series at Seattle Town Hall and has facilitated small-group discussions on psychedelics through the Psychedelic Advocacy Network.
Prior to this work, Andrew spent 20 years as a UX designer at Amazon, Google, Leafly, Zillow, and LabKey, where he led design teams, facilitated workshops, and moved a lot of pixels around on a lot of screens.

Events and Partnerships
Allison Gregurich is the founder of Work in Psychedelics, a growing ecosystem that connects people, organizations, and opportunities across the psychedelic field. Her work blends ecosystem knowledge, talent strategy, and direct experience in facilitation, integration, and community support.
Her approach is shaped by her lived experience moving through long-term recovery from trauma, chronic pain from endometriosis, and substance abuse. This gives her a real-world understanding of what it takes to build safe, ethical, human-centered psychedelic spaces.
Before founding Work in Psychedelics, Allison built an alumni program from the ground up for a behavioral health organization, worked on facilitation and integration teams, and contributed to staff development for retreats, somatic practices, and equine-assisted programs.
She continues to support interdisciplinary retreat teams and provides equine-assisted coaching and integration work in both clinical and community settings. Work in Psychedelics began as a way to make the field easier to navigate. It now supports individuals clarifying their next step, teams building capacity, and organizations hiring for roles that require judgment, care, and competence.

Adam Butler is a psychedelic philosopher and passionate DMT psychonaut focusing on mental health, neuroplasticity, self-exploration, and the extreme limits of human potential and ability. Combining an academically trained intellect, empathetic heart, and life-hardening experiences, Adam has found his niche in helping others overcome the fear associated with PTSD, depression, sexual repression, and addiction. By incorporating psychedelic compounds with deep meditation, lucid dreaming, and tantric practices he has changed from being an over worked, over-weight, stressed-out alcoholic asshole into a balanced, healthy, and sober friend and mentor to many. His books Butler’s DMT Field: A Brief History, Step by Step Recipes, and Personal Experiences From a DMT Saturated Consciousness, Butler’s Psychedelic Integration Field Guide: Advice on Integrating Psychedelic Experiences, With Insights on Creating a Life Full of Love, Connection, and Purpose, and The Alchemist of Tears: A Photo Diary of My Psychedelic Trip Across America have quickly become helpful and trusted resources in the psychedelic space.

Community Manager
Adam Miezio writes in the psychedelic field, thanks to lifelong journeying and plant medicine work. Born in Chicago, he received his master’s from N.E.I.U. completing a thesis about the Heaven’s Gate cult. He enjoys learning about psychedelics, psychology, shamanism, mysticism and fringe ideas on the fuzzy periphery of consciousness. Residing in Oaxaca, Mexico, he delves into Indigenous culture, hikes in national parks and explores ancient ruins. A good street taco with salsa verde and a Victoria refuels his divine spark.
