About this event
Video Consortium brings you a special six-part workshop series on the ins and outs — and secrets — of producing excellent hosted short-form video journalism. Join us for a big picture conversation with NewPress VP Jon Laurence (previously AJ+ and NowThis) as he takes us through what he’s learned while overseeing video at some of today’s biggest social-first platforms — and now in creator-journalism. Jon will dig into producing across platforms, transitioning video workflow and formats from traditional legacy media to hosted for YouTube/Social platforms, hooks that work, posting strategies, workflow tips, and more.
