About this event
Austin has always been home to bold and creative storytelling. With the launch of a local Video Consortium hub, local non-fiction filmmakers will have a direct pipeline to an international network of creators, industry professionals, and resources. Join us for happy hour to celebrate the official launch of VC Austin, kick off SXSW by connecting with VC members visiting from around the globe, and learn about what we can create for the community through this local chapter. SXSW badge not required—this event is open to filmmakers of all levels interested in non-fiction storytelling!
