About this event
Meeting of The Minds (MoTHM) is where global artists and industry disruptors converge during Berlinale 2025. Created by and for BIPOC creatives, this two-hour gathering brings together independent filmmakers, producers and decision makers reshaping global storytelling. Our current cultural landscape demands innovative approaches and new forms of collaboration and cross-cultural support networks. A first of its kind collaboration between Video Consortium Berlin, Minorities in Film (MiFILM), and BIPOC Eurodoc . MoTHM creates an intentional space where creators from marginalized communities can share experiences, exchange resources, and develop concrete strategies for artistic and economic sustainability. The Vibe: Hour One: Reset + Breathe Drop the market persona. Skip the elevator pitch. After a day of navigating industry spaces, this is your time to decompress with fellow creators who get it. Hour Two: Connect + Build Move past small talk into real connection through curated activities that spark genuine conversation. Think of this as your creative sanctuary during Berlinale—a place where industry professionals can be themselves, speak their truth, and find solidarity with fellow artists. For the culture-shifters, the boundary-pushers, and everyone building new tables instead of asking for seats at old ones.
