About this event
For our final gathering of 2024, we'll screen three beautiful and powerful short documentaries about women who are resilient in the face of hardship and trauma, and take action to build a better world. All three films are by VC members and were supported by the Berkeley Film Foundation! OUTCRY: Alchemists of Rage by Clare Major Mother by Meg Shutzer & Brandon Yadegari Moreno Unconditional by Albert Gregory & Danica Simonet [Please note that the films contain discussions of domestic violence, sexual assault, and animal abuse.] Stick around after the screening for a Q&A with the filmmakers and to meet your fellow VC members. Plus, delicious New Parkway food and drinks will be available for purchase. The New Parkway is an accessible theater for all. We can't wait to gather with you to build community together as we close out a bumpy 2024! ⭐ Are you a VC Gold member? Sign in and RSVP for free ! Not Gold? Join us and attend all events gratis.
