Explore membership. \ Join us for an overview of how Google Trends works and learn different ways for journalists to use the tool — from seeing what audiences are interested in to comparing candidates and issues. We’ll highlight any special elections-focused experiences and share hacks for going local. \ Speaker: \ Mary Nahorniak\, U.S. Teaching Fellow\, Google News Lab \ This is the second session in a series showcasing some of the best free tools that help journalists report on and tell stories. Each of the four sessions will feature examples from campaign and election reporting\, as well as other interesting stories\, and are meant to be actionable\, with tips and use cases you can bring into your work right away. INN members of all skill levels are welcome\, and will walk away with a cheat sheet from each session.
