Data scraping with Google Sheets\, scraping PDFs\, building graphics with Google’s Flourish. \ Learn about all of the free Google tools that can help your newsroom build interactive charts\, maps\, visualizations and more. This is a hands-on\, virtual workshop. A former reporter at the Los Angeles Times and web editor at the Chicago Tribune\, he teaches data and multimedia journalism at the University of Illinois-Chicago\, where he is a full-time faculty member.
